I was working on a photography work when, Carlos Verona and Aleix Espargaró passed by.
There was barely any time to react. I missed Aleix, but managed to get two frames of Carlos.
I wanted to share these photos because, for me, they say a lot about what it means to be a professional cyclist.
They were aware of the camera, but they were there to train. No stopping, no slowing down, just doing the work.
Working in cycling, you realise how much dedication and effort goes on behind the scenes, something people don’t always get to see.
That’s what I wanted to capture.
And after everything Aleix has been through, it was also great to see him back out there, training hard again.
A completely unexpected moment, and a small personal project I wanted to share.
